NICHOLAS BROWN, PARTNERSHIPS

NICHOLAS BROWN, PARTNERSHIPS

Nicholas Brown, Fashion Revolution USA

Nicholas started his career in NYC, where he worked for fashion brands Marc Jacobs and Project No 8, as well as publications like Nylon, Esquire, Vanity Fair. His love of high fashion led him to Europe to work with womenswear designer Christian Wijnants, menswear designer Walter Van Beirendonck, and conceptual designers BLESS.

Noticing that certain aspects of the fashion industry were at odds with his passion for protecting the environment and human rights, Nicholas wanted to help redirect the industry. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2014, he has been heavily involved with various nonprofits including Beyond the Label, Fair Trade LA, Impact Fashion, and Fashion Revolution, where he currently serves as the country coordinator for Southern California. He has worked across the supply chain to help unite the industry and to find solutions that work for all living beings and the planet.

Nicholas is driven to continue the work of Fashion Revolution in uniting people and organizations to work together towards radically changing the way our clothes are sourced, produced, and consumed.

Our practice is based in the greater Los Angeles area, originally Tovaangar (Los Angeles basin, South Channel Islands); the traditional lands of the Tongva people. We acknowledge that their sovereignty was never ceded, and we pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), Ahiihirom (Elders), and eyoohiinkem (relatives/relations) past, present, and emerging.
