AnitaB.org LA and WiSTEM International Women’s Day Event

March 8 is a worldwide event celebrating the accomplishments of women all over the world, from a social, economic, political and professional point of view. We are thrilled to participate to this year’s Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti's WiSTEM L.A. and Anita B.org’s initiative to celebrate and recognize outstanding women across the world and spearhead a meaningful conversation to accelerate equality. There will be three panels taking the stand:

  1. Community and Women in STEM

  2. Higher Education & Women in STEM

  3. Leadership & Women in STEM

Panels will be moderated by WiSTEM L.A. Advisory Board Members Kathryne Cooper (Co-Director, CTIP progarm at Children's Hospital L.A.), Mimi Carter (President of Pasadena Angels), and Dr. Belinda Tan (Entrepreneur and Medical Dermatologist with Good Dermatology).

They will also have a special keynote address from founder and entrepreneur Janice Bryant Howroyd.
